We sometimes think the awakening Self reabsorbs its projected universe, and stops dreaming its dream.
But the Self is not the dreamer of dreams.
The Self is the Absolute, which ever-exists and self-shines.
Nothing ever happened!
This is the true reality.
When we discover we’re dreaming this world-dream, we are tempted to think we have discovered the Self, when in fact we've discovered the ego.
When you see the ego’s power to manufacture universes, you might develop the “ability” to dissolve this whole, sordid construct into a sea of white light.
Not so fast, Esau!
Don't give up your birthright for a bowl of white light!
We say, “The ego is an illusion.”
It is, but technically it's a self-delusion.
The Self can’t be deluded or deceived.
The ego is the deceiver that only deceives itself.
Only the ego “wakes up,” and its awakening is but the glitter of enhanced self-deception.
Sorry if this sounds harsh.
The good news is, True awakening is natural; enhanced dreaming is not.
Just change your aim.
Turn toward the truth you already know in the core of your being.
Other than that, act natural.
