We have heard all the basic benefits - lower blood pressure, less stress, being more patient, less reactive, etc.

However, let’s imagine for a moment that we have invented a spacecraft that is able to take us out of our solar system, then far out of our galaxy, then much further, past all galaxies, all the way back to the central point, the origin of the universe and even back before creation.

Now let’s further imagine, that at the time of creation not only were particles of energy thrown forth but thought itself was initiated - a universe of thought plus matter!

Is it possible? Well, we are beings of thought and matter both. Maybe the beginning of the universe was as much a thought as it was a conglomeration of energy and the resultant principles of gravity, electromagnetism, nuclear, etc.

This means our own thought has its origin from the beginning and expresses principles of nature just as our body particles conform to the original principles of creation.

This being the case, can we use our thought to trace its origins before time, before creation itself?

YES!!!

That is the great wonder of meditation. With much practice, we can still the mind, enter pure consciousness and even transcend consciousness beyond the body and beyond particles back to its original state - before it manifested itself through motion and became entwined with matter to create forms.

Many people will not believe it but science is just beginning to understand the intertwined nature of thought+matter.

It is thought that is our tool for evolution, but instead of harnessing it, we allow it to continue dissipating its potential through random activity. Therefore our true potential is wasted as dissipation of energy through random thinking.

Little do we know that when we harvest the potential of our thought we can use it for our further evolution, far beyond what we can currently imagine.

This is why we hear words like Oneness, Unity, etc., in the field of meditation. When we reach the origin of our own thought, we reach the origin of ALL thought.

So, if you are ready for the great exploration of your life - meditate!

good journey,
b
