What you really want is the swag from companies that looked impressive, but then died. You want the pets.com sock puppet. You want a mug from Webvan. You want an AltaVista polo shirt. You want a gold plated Enron keychain. You want a Commodore 64 signed "Told 'ya so! - Woz".

It's the stuff that says "I was there. I'm still here. They're not." It makes a statement.

And if you weren't there, it's not too late to start picking up some Yahoo and Myspace swag.
