Ok, so after this whole incident happened I was afraid to tell anybody because I legit feared for my life. Till this day I'm still fucking confused.

So I must've been about 14 years old when this happened. I lived in a small house, so the kitchen was next to the room that I was sleeping in. From my bed I could see the wall that had the kitchen to the left and the toilet to the right. It was about 3AM and I was up watching some videos and whatnot. After a while I decided to go to sleep, so I put my phone to the side and sort of just lay there, as you do.

Something catches my attention and before I have the chance to think, my eyes automatically fall on this shadowy figure, who is looking at me from around the corner of the wall, one of its hands against the wall. I kid you not, it looked similar to the rake creature. It was this humanoid-type thing and it looked like it was black, but in fairness it was dark. Anyway, it's eyes and mine locked. I was looking straight at it and it was looking at me. Its eyes were gleaming in the dark and they were kind of big and round. I froze completely and I'm pretty sure I even stopped breathing. Couldn't take my eyes off of it either. Im not sure how long we stayed like that, probably a couple of seconds, but eventually the creature just jolts back very quickly and I'm left there, still frozen from fear and shock. I stayed still for a long time afterwards.

I eventually calmed down and SOMEHOW managed to fall asleep, probably because I was tired as heck.

I don't know if it was real or my imagination, but it happened. Scariest shit.

For those who don't know what the rake creature looks like, this is it. The creature in my story looked extremely similar; same eyes and everything. Only thing is, I didnt see a mouth or a nose (again, it was dark so that's probably why).
