It was two nights before Christmas. The dumping rain was starting to turn to snow. I pulled into a crowded parking lot. There was something on the ground as I exited my car. I went in the store and the object was still near the front of my car when I returned. It was a wallet with a couple hundred dollars. The only ID was of a lady that lived hundreds of miles away. The Sheriff office was closed. So, I turned to good ol Facebook. I put the description in of what I found. Sure enough a gal called in tears. It was all the money she had and it was for her three little kids' Christmas. She came to my house and it was her photo on the drivers license. She had recently moved to the area and was staying with a friend. I turned down her reward offer and just wished them a blessed Merry Christmas. We are friends to this day!
