Stilling the mind does not lead to enlightenment.
That would be so easy. Everyone who meditates long enough can experience the silent mind, but this does not mean he/she is enlighened.
Path to enlightenment leads through your heart, which is the only “real stuff”.
When the heart starts open for authenticity, dishonesty can not survive anymore. Opened heart burns dishonesty, it burns attachements, beliefs about yourself and others.
When heart opens it starts to feel a lot of pain. Through bleeding heart capable to face those tears we can become free.
The pain is sometimes so hard to handle. It forces us to give up, to really let go, to die.
I am not dead yet, I am not enlightened.
With love…
