As an intern at the Facebook HQ in Menlo Park, you get almost all of the perks the FTEs get and even some more. I’ve tried my best to recount all the benefits I could but I’m definitely missing a ton more:

1. You get the latest and greatest Macbook Pro 15″ along with a choice of a flagship Android or iPhone on your first day. And a really nice backpack to go with them.
2. Free Catered Meals - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner as well as Snacks and Drinks throughout the 20+ cafeterias, each with their own menu, theme and cuisine(some change every meal, some daily and others weekly), and also in the micro-kitchens conveniently located every few hundred yards. The food is fantastic on average. Also, many teams have Happy Hours on Friday evenings where you can drink and socialize with your coworkers - the Search Org has a “Search Bar” which is great if you enjoy free alcohol and puns.
3. Employee Dogfooding opportunities - like research studies and demos where you get to try out cool new features and devices, sometimes with gift cards for the…..
4. Swag Store! - this place on Campus sells all the Facebook/Instagram/Oculus/Whatsapp merch you could want at very low prices. They even let you purchase stuff online.
5. A Gaming Arcade with several retro classics, pinball machines as well as some of the latest PS4 and XBOX One titles on ‘arcadified’ consoles.
6. Blue Bikes everywhere to ride around the massive campus.
7. As an intern, you also get an awesome free Hybrid or Road Bike to keep for the duration of your internship.
8. Bike to Work days every month where you get bike related swag for showing up to work on a bike. Also a Bike Shop right on campus to buy a bike, get it fixed or just to talk to a bunch of experts.
9. The chance to listen to the Zuck in person and ask him questions at his weekly Q&A. Interns usually ask the most interesting and also the weirdest questions.
10. Tons of Intern Events throughout the summer - there’s the First Fridays at Facebook(FFF), Intern Hackathon, Intern Night Out, Intern Field Day, Intern Recruiter Hangouts (ours was an Escape Room followed by a catered dinner) and also the trip to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. I might be missing some more.
11. We even had several CYOA - Create Your Own Adventure events in which FB pays for your travel to and from hiking trails, museums and other interesting locations but you’d be responsible for your own expenses. So there’s at least one event every weekend!
12. Literally a website called Facebook Perks which lets you buy all sorts of stuff from laptops, electronics, movie tickets, food to even holiday packages at cheaper rates. This can be shared with your family as well.
13. Free Swag at almost every event you go to.
14. Showers and Nap Rooms to relax.
15. Free Dry Cleaning and Laundry services.
16. A Barber Shop on campus cause why not?
17. Hackathons every few months where you get to eat delicious food, collect swag and hack away at the project of your choice and build something awesome while learning something new.
18. A Fitness Center with Rock Climbing, group fitness sessions and several sports facilities - where you also get free Protein Bars, Shakes and energy drinks.
19. Wood Shop and the “Analog Labs”, to get creative and craft awesome things if you’re just tired of being all analytical and want to engage your right brain.
20. A free Public Transit Go Pass for commuting to work if you’re not taking any of the numerous Wi-Fi enabled Shuttles across the Bay Area.
