“Have an affair” is somewhat a stretch.

I can say Taemin has a soft spot for JM with how fondly he looks at him. It’s no secret they’re friends as they’re both part of the “Padding Squad” or “Friendship Parkas.”

They’ve hung out outside their schedule along with the rest of the Padding Squad as well.

And they also had a showdown during KBS 2017; therefore, they’ve practiced and spent a lot of time together during that time too.

Their friendship is extremely endearing.

SHINEE had been on hiatus as most of the members were fulfilling their military duties; thus, we didn’t see many TaeMin interactions during award shows post-2017. Taemin was doing some solo work, but as far as I know, he wasn’t as promoted by SM — I won’t get into it too much. Nevertheless, SHINEE’s Minho, Onew, and Key were discharged last year,

Anyway, they’re really good friends. With SHINEE’s comeback, we might see more TaeMin/JiMin interaction in the upcoming award shows AFTER Covid-19 is sorted out.
