Well I'm only 19, so it's not like I got a costly car, or a house that's no good, or sunken shares in the name of financial regrets. But I do have one purchase that I regret.

I play the guitar, I've been playing since I was 9 years old. It's literally been a decade. My first guitar was an excellent one, costed me around Rs. 6000, which was pretty costly for a guitar back in the day, especially for a beginner, which I was. I used it for quite sometime but then something unmentionable happened and I just didn't have it anymore, so I was in need of a new guitar.

But being a student of medical science, I was mostly occupied with my books. So I really wasn't sure if I should have been spending a lot on my new guitar. My first guitar was now costing me 16K instead of the 6K, I was shocked to see the inflation.

Ultimately I settled for a guitar which costed me nearly 6K again, but the quality of my new guitar was no good and it started sounding simply pathetic after 6 months of me using it, regardless of numerous adjustments and re-stringings.

I realised I've learnt to make time for my hobbies as busy as I am, but now I'm stuck with guitar that's no good. I can barely use it for pass-time, let alone performing on the stage. So it's a purchase I most defnitely regret, as if I ended up spending 6k for nothing, to save the remainder of the sum.

I love this guitar but this guitar doesn't love me.
