My mother told me this story.

One day, many years ago, my aunt was newly married. Her mother in law (my grandmother’s sister) was due for dinner, so my aunt decided to make some baked chicken. Kind of hard to screw THAT up, right?

Well, my grand-aunt takes one bite of the chicken, and says “Did you wash this chicken?”

My aunt said “Yes, mom, I even used soap”.
