One of my first jobs was a cashier at a grocery store. I was 17, and it was before they even had barcodes or scanners or anything. I don't even remember anyone even using coupons.

As a shopper, though, I hate extreme couponers. I've seen them bring up two or three carts full of things and then get angry if their .50 cent off coupon is expired or they didn't get the correct size item for that coupon, etc.

I have used coupons a few times, but I have found that store brands are usually cheaper than name brands even with coupons.
