The Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry streams of Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker PNP are specially for hiring workers. Workers are hired using an Expression of Interest system.
I was hired as a Mechanical engineer in Saskatchewan. I applied for both Express entry and PNP. Though I did not get a high enough Express entry score because of fewer IELTS scores I failed to get an Invitation letter.
That is when my PNP helped me to get an extra 600 points. I applied for the Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand stream and got my nomination certificate to apply as a permanent resident.

- Geological and mineral technologists and technicians
- Biologists and related scientists
- Agricultural representatives, consultants, and specialists
- Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians
- Drafting technologists and technicians
- Automotive service technicians, truck and bus mechanics
- Motor vehicle body repairers
Both skilled and unskilled workers are in need in Saskatchewan. If you are eligible and belong to any of the in-demand occupations you can apply through the SINP or Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee program.
