1. My 9 year old daughter can’t fathom why I can’t instantly pull up photos from my childhood on my phone the way I can pull up photos of her childhood. She can’t grok why we didn’t have cameras with us at all times -that cameras were only pulled out on special occasions and the film perhaps developed months later.
2. Working with a university co-op student recently and she didn’t get a Titanic reference I made. When I explained the movie reference - she said “Oh that’s why. I don’t watch old movies”
3. Working with a different university co-op student recently and we realized I was older than her father.
