I asked Google Bard how to know your body-type, and it said
,To know your Kibbe type, you can take a few steps:
- Take a full-length photo of yourself in underwear or a swimsuit. The photo should be taken at chest height and should be in focus.
- Assess your vertical line. This is the overall impression of your length, from your shoulders to your knees. Do you look taller or shorter than your actual height? Do you have a long, lean torso? Or do you have a shorter torso with longer legs?
- Assess your body composition. Are your bones sharp and angular, or soft and rounded? Do you have a lot of muscle mass? Or are you more slender?
- Assess your flesh distribution. Is your flesh evenly distributed throughout your body? Or do you have more flesh in certain areas, such as your bust, hips, or thighs?
Once you have assessed these factors, you can start to narrow down your Kibbe type. Here is a brief overview of the five Kibbe families:
- Dramatics: Dramatics have a long, sharp vertical line and sharp, angular features. They often have a lot of muscle mass and their flesh is evenly distributed.
- Classics: Classics have a balanced vertical line and a mix of sharp and rounded features. Their flesh is evenly distributed and they often have a moderate amount of muscle mass.
- Naturals: Naturals have a blunt vertical line and blunt, angular features. They often have a lot of muscle mass and their flesh is evenly distributed.
- Gamines: Gamines have a short, petite vertical line and a mix of sharp and rounded features. They often have less muscle mass and their flesh is evenly distributed.
- Romantics: Romantics have a soft, rounded vertical line and soft, rounded features. They often have less muscle mass and their flesh is concentrated in certain areas, such as the bust, hips, and thighs.
If you are still unsure of your Kibbe type, you can take a Kibbe test online or consult with a Kibbe-certified stylist.
Here are some additional tips for determining your Kibbe type:
- Consider your overall impression on others. Do you come across as tall and imposing? Or short and petite? Do you have a strong, athletic presence? Or a soft, feminine presence?
- Think about the clothes that look best on you. Do you look best in sharp, tailored pieces? Or flowing, draped pieces? Do you look best in monochrome outfits? Or in outfits with a lot of color and pattern?
- Look at celebrities and other public figures who share your body type. What kind of clothes do they wear that look good on them?
Once you have a good understanding of your Kibbe type, you can start to dress in a way that flatters your natural beauty.
