Thanks for the A2A! This is a fabulous question. Wikipedia states that Muhammad life started in 571 AD. I researched cat genealogy and found that domesticated cats appeared 3 million years ago, long before Muhammad walked the Earth!

Muhammad lived in Saudi Arabia and I found this article here to be a little helpful, Islam and cats - Wikipedia. It states that it is reported that Muhammad touched a cat and created stripes on its head which leads me to believe that Muhammad favorite cat, Muezza, was a Tiger Cat!

But nobody can be certain I suppose.
