Absolutely not!
This particular stereotype of the emotionally detached man makes it hard for men to understand and accept their vulnerabilities.
But I want you to know that we're slowly not living up to that stereotype anymore. Men can express themselves freely.
Gender doesn’t dictate what emotions someone is allowed to feel and express. It’s important for everyone to know that anyone can acknowledge and process their emotions in a healthy way, regardless of gender. Suppressing emotions can have detrimental effects, including increased stress and potentially even worse mental health problems.
Therefore, don't be afraid to express your emotions; doing so is not merely acceptable but also healthy; in fact, expressing yourself emotionally is an indication of your strength.
