Good to Great.
Age isn't a deal-breaker when it comes to applying for Canada PR.
Okay, a majority of Canada's Immigration programs focus on younger applicants (20-29), but there are still plenty of options to immigrate to Canada at age 39.
See, your age is just one piece of the puzzle. Your chances of getting Canada PR depend on other factors as well. The Canadian immigration system uses a points-based system, which considers factors like education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability. Being under 39 can earn you some extra points (not the maximum though) - which is good news for you.
This doesn’t mean you won’t get selected for a Canada PR. You may be able to score more points in other factors of the CRS point calculator for the points lost for the age factor.
If you have a solid educational background, work experience in a sought-after field, and proficiency in English or French - those are all big pluses. As long as your documents are convincing, you can immigrate to Canada at any age - under any of the 104+ immigration programs.
Do your homework, explore the programs, and who knows, you might just find your way to becoming a permanent resident in the Great White North!
