I HAVE WON THE SCRATCH OFF GAMES MANY TIMES. I won the $25 Thousand more than 20 years ago. However, over that period of time I have won $10 thousand three times, $5 thousand 5 times, 1,000 21 times, $500 more than 25 times. Over the 25 years or so I would pocket $200 profit minimum each week. Interestingly, I could NOT win on the large lottery games at all. My winning streak started almost 35 years ago when I looked at my digital clock in my car and it said 11:53am so I walked into a magazine store and bought several tickets, and the number 1153 came in and I won a little over $1,800. Then the next year I played my favorite three-digit number, and it came in straight 6 times when I played. It came in once when I did not play. One Saturday my wife played the same number as I did, and we both won. Then my luck seemed to transfer to the scratch off tickets and I was winning all the time. I spent a lot of time at the Lottery headquarters getting paid for the tickets over $500.

However, I guess all winning streaks come to an end because in the last two years I have won virtually nothing. But it was really nice.

UPDATE. I usually keep my loosing tickets so that I can check each ticket a second time. I have found a fair number of the tickets that WERE winners that I missed the first time I checked them. Usually, the tickets were worth $20 to $50 winners. This June I was checking about 10 tickets a second time and I found another winning ticket worth $10,000. What a wonderful surprise.

Saving losing tickets can be used to deduct losing tickets from one’s WINNING tickets for recouping loses.

IT IS BEST TO MAKE SURE THE TICKETS ONE SAVES ARE CHECKED A SECOND TIME.

Just saying……
