In my case, it’s a huge difference.
Differences:
- My Dad borned in the year 1968. He owned his new cellphone in the year when I borned. (i.e 2000) And look now even my cousin who is just three years got his phone just for youtube to watch animation.
- My parents used to study in a lamp light as there was no lamps in the home. And now there’s light everywhere even in the midnight.
- My parents never knew about the internet until 1998. Well, in 1998 they just heard about it. And now I’m browsing Quora with an internet that is around 10Mbps.
- My parents were first introduced to the smartphone with around 512MB RAM in the year 2004. And I owned a 3GB RAM smartphone when I was only 14.
- My parents just know about some trains and bullockcarts. Trains which runs on steam produced with coal and carts which is pulled with Ox. And I know all cars from Toyota to Lambo. Harley davidson to Hayabusa.
- There were no roads but just mud everywhere when my parents are borned. And now flyovers everywhere.
- There used to be slight 2 or 3 people on road with car in the year 1995 when my parents came to city. And when I was born there were like 1000 cars.
- My parents saw huts and small buildings. And I am seeing the Burj Al Khalifa. (One of the biggest skyscrapper in the world located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates)
- There was little fashion around and now look 1000 of models. 100 types of clothing. Ripped jeans to turtle neck sweater. lol.
That’s all. This is the difference between my parents generation than mine.
