The answer to that question revolves around another question: What chemical are we storing? There are many chemicals that can be safely stored in glass…but if we put chlorine trifluoride in a glass tank, the tank will catch fire.

Plastic tanks are rust and corrosion free. They have very good lifespan. But if we see strength wise than there are chances that HDPE cracks when there is some mishandling.
So for Industrial purposes I recommend you to use stainless steel tanks and if you search online there are many manufacturer of SS tanks and can fabricate as per your aize requirements.

Please use only Stainless Steel Grade 316 sheet only. That is the best grade.
