My husband’s company was hired to remove and dispose of the contents of the house the owner had recently acquired.

The owner was asked if he wanted to keep or look at anything before it was removed. The furniture and anything else useful was to be donated etc… The owner was adamant that my husband could have anything in the house, he just wanted it cleared out ASAP.

A bag of watches were found. My husband likes watches, so he put the bag aside. He then brought them to a jeweler out of curiosity.

Two of them were decent not super valuable like $100-$150 each… turns out that the third was significantly more valuable. We had never even heard of the watch maker… it was a Ulysses Nardin worth about $14,000.00!

My husband gave the guys a nice bonus and put the watch in a safety deposit box….
