Not as good as you think. Money don’t grow on trees here. The healthcare is universal but it does not cover things like dental and vision. As usual, you moving to a new country means of course, new rules. You have to have a lot of money (as usual) to have a comfortable life, or else you will end up in minimum wage jobs and crappy apartments. Unless you have connections or family that can help you in all aspects in your first few months or even years moving to Canada. Your job experience and, let’s say you have a doctorate or PhD in your country , will not be recognized in Canada. So dont expect to start a job at a big company. One more thing that really annoys me to the core is how expensive the flights are just to visit other Canadian provinces from another Canadian province. LIKE, COME ON! It is ironically cheaper to visit the States and Mexico from Canada. If you’re comfortable in your respective countries, just stay there.
