Well it happened so that I was out of town and my girlfriend called me up asking
She: Hey, I have to go out for dinner with a boy who was my neighbor when I was a kid. Do you mind if I go?"
Me: Have you been friends with him lately?
She: No, he just called up today after years.
Me: Well I don't know him personally, like what kind of a person he is so I am not sure you should be going out to his place
She: (all firing) How can you be so narrow minded, why will I go out with a bad person in the first place, what do you think, what kind of a girl have I been as a child.. blah blah blah.

She went for the dinner anyway.
I later realized, ok I was probably wrong. It wasn't right for me to come up with something like that.

After a few months, same situation.
She: "Hey, there's this old friend of mine who wants to have dinner with me, Would you mind if I go?
Me: well if you think he is a friend then definitely, you should catch up. Go for sure.
She: How can you just ask me to go out with anyone without even asking anything about the guy. You're so tired of me that you willingly allow me to go to any other guy. What the heck is your problem with me.. blah blah blah
Me: All right, I'm done here, forever.
