After writing analysis/review/theory blog posts for NCT 2021 YearDream episodes as well as reading other theories, I realized that there are some things that we forgot to pay attention to or never realized we're important to understanding NCT's storyline. Some things were entirely new! Here's a list of all of them to save you the stress.

Mentions of Kwangya or Kosmo
Kosmo hasn't been mentioned in YearDream but Kwangya has in YearDream: Stage 2 Seeing myself in a Dream and YearDream: Stage 4: Resonance. In both episodes, Kwangya might be a where they are in their dreams.

The Resonance Water Drop
The resonance water drop sound is something nearly all of us NCTzens are familiar with. Whenever we here it, we should always pay attention for any visuals or lyrics that pertain to the Neos' dreams and how they resonate and empathize with each other.
Musical Tones or Sounds
An example of this, besides the resonance water drop is the whistle that was newly introduced to us in YearDream: Stage 0 and YearDream: Stage 3. In those episodes, we can see that the Neos were using the whistles to resonate with each other and synchronize their dreams.
Recurring Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, or Purple Colors
While watching YearDream episodes, especially stage 2 episode, you can see that colors hold meaning in the NCT universe. According to fan observations and theories these are the meanings of the colors.
red = reality
yellow = neither dream nor reality
blue and green = dream
purple = dream in a dream
Knowing the meanings of these colors is very helpful to figuring out if a certain MV or other video is taking place in reality or in a dream and even which stage.

On one last note, I would recommend rewatching all the YearDream episodes in stage order, especially after you read my posts and some other NCTzen's theories (which I included in each of my posts). It offers a fresher perspective of the whole YearDream series. Even without reading anything, this list of tips will help you look at YearDream in a deeper way if you were confused.
