I asked my daughter who was 2 at the time if she would like to try a mandarin which was new to her.

"Is it good for me?", she asked, looking very excited.

"Yes, it's very good for you!", I said, eager to get her to try something new and healthy.

"No thank you, I don't want it then." she said and wandered off leaving me speechless.

Next time I tried getting her to try something healthy I told her it was bad for her. That worked once...
