The simple answer is Yes, I and my senior co-worker encountered thrilling things in our company, and they both happened when we were working overtime at night.
My co-worker’s experience
One day, my senior co-worker (named John in the story) worked overtime until almost 10 p.m., after overtime work, he left the office and proceeded to the parking lot for his car.
Because our company is located far from the urban area, there is typically nobody at night.
There were very few car in the park then, and the sky was dark.
When he got in the car, he heard a weak but clear sigh from the rear seats.
He didn’t take it seriously, trying to start the car. The sigh continued and got louder, he began to notice it and felt very frightened because he thought no others in the car.
But the sigh didn’t stop.
He turned around to see what it was, but nothing pop up and the sigh finally stopped.
He urgently started the car and drove away from there.
My experience
A few months ago, I worked alone overtime in the office, I was the only person in the building.
I wanted to pee, so I went to the washroom. (It was around 8 p.m.)
When I left the washroom, I suddenly heard a very loud but short laugh outside, it only continued for seconds.
I looked out the windows but didn’t find anyone.
I felt frightened and finished my tasks as soon as possible and left.
BTW, these two venues are very close.
