Don’t overpay for car insurance

They usually have lower interest rates and more flexible terms that a typical loan would.

Put your savings to work

I'm always shocked at the number of people still using garbage savings accounts that pay 0.5% (or less) a year. There are literally hundreds of banks that will pay you 8x that, usually 10x that rate.

Pause credit card interest payments until ~2027

High-interest credit cards can make it ridiculously hard to get ahead.

But, here’s a credit card that offers a 0% intro APR until nearly 2027 and no annual fee, which means more of your money actually goes toward paying down your balance.

Swap high interest for lower interest

Nothing is more expensive than high interest debt (particularly credit card debt).

Think about using a personal loan to swap your high-interest debt for lower-interest debt.

The basic idea: find a lower-interest personal loan and pay off your credit card with that loan money. Personal loan interest rates are typically far lower than credit card interest rates.

4) Ahmedabad-Dholera Express plus Metro project got Environment Clearance in February, 2018 and we are expecting it’s development to be started by this year end.

5) Dholera SIR International Airport’s ground breaking ceremony can be held on this year end and related companies will start the development of this airport in 2019. Government is expecting the Airport to become operational in 2022–2023.

6) Gujarat government’s most ambitious project is 5000 MW Solar Park. Out of it 1000 MW park’s work will start in June-July,2018.

The DSIR is the first investment region to be designated under the proposed Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project (DMIC), a joint Indian and Japanese initiative to create a linear zone of development along a Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) railway line. The site is strategically situated between the main industrial centres of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot and Bhavnagar. It is linked to the major ports of Gujarat by State Highways but as yet has no direct rail connection. The nearest international airport is at Ahmedabad, although there is a current proposal to develop a new international airport to the north-east of the DSIR at Navagam Village. The new airport project site is spread over on 1,426 hectares near village Navagam in Dholera taluka (Earlier it was in Dhandhuka Taluka),[1] about 80 kilometers from Ahmedabad and around 20 kilometres from the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR).[2] The state government has formed Dholera International Airport Company Ltd (DIACL) as a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for development of the airport. Work on the airport is expected to begin in the 2019. This new airport will serve as the new air transport hub for Ahmedabad and Saurashtra region once the existing Sardar Patel airport in Ahmedabad reaches full capacity.

The purpose of the Draft Development Plan for the DSIR is to set out the framework for the long term growth of the area of the DSIR for a period of 30 years starting from 2010. It is intended to provide a broad development guide to all people with an interest in the future of the DSIR – including Central and State Governments, public and private bodies and corporations and the existing local inhabitants and landowners living within and adjoining the boundaries of the designated area.

While the GIFT city at Gandhinagar was created mainly for IT services, international finance and banks, the Dholera SIR will be developed as a well planned greenfield city serving as a major manufacturing hub. Industries such as heavy engineering, automobile and auto ancillary, pharma and biotechnology, electronics and high-tech products, metallurgical products, plastics, ceramics & sanitaryware and many more.

The work on Dholera SIR has of course slowed down in the past few years - primarily because there is not much demand in the economy and of course now with the COVID-19 crisis, investment will not happen for next 2 years. the Delhi Mumbai Industrial corridor (DMIC) is yet to mature fully. Things will be track later and it should 6–7 years before we see tangible result son the ground.

Dholera will use analytics for efficient budgeting,to determine which areas to target for improvement of infrastructure amenities etc..The city will have special process applications for water management; to assess quality,detect overflows and reduce wastages. It will provide electricity 24×7 and will use ICT to manage power usage and lower costs.
In a move to provide housing for all,the city will earmark 10 percent of its area for Economically Weaker Sections(EWS). It will also house eleven percent of the open green area of India,which is endorsed to be the largest in the country.
The tap water in the city will be drinkable, potable.
To be more accessible it will be connected by metro line and expressway.The centre has already approved the tenders for the expressway between Ahmedabad and Dholera.Plans for Rs.7000 cr metro rail network are being worked out before.
