So... This happened 1 year back…

It was winter and I was returning from my coaching. The time has been around 6:30 p. M. and so the sky was dark enough. My house was at 30 minutes distance from there and I usually travelled by bus but that day I was late so I had to get in a taxi after no bus passed for plenty time.

The seats were filled up either sides and I had to sit at the extreme corner with 2 men and a woman sharing the same.

I was at the window corner with a man next to me. The taxi driver switched the lights off to my greatest inconvenience. The man next to me was an absurd who was deliberately trying either to fall on me or giving a kind of unwanted touch with every brake the driver applied :/

I am too introvert and shy to resist something like that provided I would have handled it comfortably if in case I had the stole as a veil on my face(plus I never experienced something bad like that before).

I kept silent trying best to suppress an ever-increasing anger growing every passing minute.... I just gave an awful stare to him but didn't uttered a word.

Although the lights were off but the flashing lights of vehicles around were enough for everyone to notice that.

Just opposite in front of my seat was a woman noticing all that. She looked quite tall and strong; dressed formally in a t-shirt and trouser. She stared me and then that man.

And then all of a sudden she ordered the driver to stop the taxi in her heavy voice. The lights were on and then she asked that man to step out of the taxi in her thundering voice.

The man was a way more abrasive than what I imagined him to be (#the typical trained “badtameez" type) and to her words he replied in an even offensive manner and even louder voice than hers.

Taking just a part what he said was: “Na jaun to... Koi dikkat Tujhko” {What if I don't step out... Any problem?}

And then she took something out from her t-shirt pocket and replied with a thunderclap once again in his kind of abusive language this time with : “To tu chal Seedhe thaane Fir” {You come to police station directly then}

Wooaaw... She was Lady Inspector in formals! :)

And the man coming directly to his low tone murmured something to himself and stepped out giving a vigorous stare to the fine lady... Gave his fare ;thundering on driver that he has to step out at the same place anyway! IDIOT :/

The taxi moved and the lady got up and sat next to me and thundered (although sweetly this time) in my ears that “Don't tolerate anything... Learn to raise your voice... Your parents took the responsibility of your birth but not the assurance of your safety wherever you go”

I was quiet and listening to her and stepped out at my destination with my gracious and meaningful Thanks to her.

Yes.. Although as a Lady Inspector she has the duty of safeguarding me that moment but what she said thereafter was even more significant and amazing :) :)

So.. Being a stranger she taught me something really good :)

Thanks to her for all things she said which I now follow always :)
