If I talk about my journey at Placewit, before joining, I could hardly code the problems like reversing a linked list. I was searching online for the best resources for coding, but I was not able to get a clear path. Placewit helped me to give a proper path for Data structure and algorithms and all the required skills in the interview, I was able to solve around 450+ questions on Leetcode, around 150 questions on GeeksForGeeks. Finally, I was pretty confident for interviews, I was able to crack a company in the early season of my placement session.

Instructors and Batch at Placewit:

Instructors here were very friendly, they were very supportive. They were also placed at big MNCs like amazon etc. They were able to solve every single doubt I had. My batch size was around 20 students and it was made sure that attention was given to every student by the instructors and mentors themselves. They tracked the progress of every student through the Placewit platform. I feel that proper attention was given to every student.

The classroom environment at Placewit:

The overall classroom environment was very productive. The instructor explained the theory part very properly, then we used to solve a lot of questions in the class itself. It was not like watching some tutorial, we were the ones who usually solved the questions that we were assigned. The overall environment was very interactive, productive, and competitive.

There was a mixture of students here, some were already at a good level, some were the students like me, who were finding the right path, but in the end, we all were at a great level, we were on the right path. Interaction with students was very friendly, we helped each other, we had some telegram and discord groups also where we helped each other if someone gets stuck somewhere. The environment was competitive which motivated us very much to solve more questions every day.

Training and guidance:

In my college, I couldn’t find a proper path and proper guidance for my preparation. After joining the Placewit, I felt more confident for the interviews, I felt confident enough to crack any company. In the very early season, I was able to crack the interview of American Express, and I'm not stopping here only, I aim for bigger companies in near future. All the credit goes to Placewit itself.

Preparing for Interviews:

For Interview preparation, we had regular mock interviews scheduled after every two weeks in the beginning. In the last stage, the mock interviews were taken more frequently by the mentors. The mock Interviews lasted for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Afterward, we had a 15-20 minutes discussion about where I lacked, what I needed to improve, so basically I kept growing after every mock. We gained a lot of confidence and we were not afraid of interviews anymore. My fear for interviews was gone, there was no hesitation left in me, I was confident for the interviews. Placewit helped us a lot in boosting the confidence we need in the interviews.

Resume building at Placewit:

Mentors helped me a lot in building my resume. They put in their efforts to build our resume as best as possible. I would like to thank Aman Garg sir, as I was never rejected for my resume for every company I applied for. It was one week of effort the mentors took for building one resume. Resume building part was very helpful for the students.

Improving my fear and nervousness in the Interviews:

For removing nervousness in the interviews, Placewit has its great strategy of conducting mock interviews. For every student, around 10+ Mock interviews were taken by the mentors directly. Also at the end, there was peer to peer mock interviews which students themselves used to take off each other. This strategy worked for everyone for removing our shyness, hesitation, and building the confidence which we need for the interviews.

Results:

I was able to achieve the double CTC that I thought before joining Placewit. Currently, I have an internship offer at American Express which is offering me a CTC of more than 15 LPA. I was the only one from my college that was selected for this offer. I have another offer from BlogVault that is offering me around 13 LPA CTC.
