At the rehearsal dinner for our wedding, my dad and my (soon to be) husband’s uncle started talking. My family is from Minnesota and my husband’s uncle lives in California.

Through the standard get-to-know-you conversation, they realized they both lived in the same apartment building, at the same time, while working as engineers for the same company in the early 80’s. In Florida. They likely crossed paths several times without knowing it.

They both went on to marry women named Susan and have a son named Christopher. Both Christophers majored in Computer Science at university and could pass for twins, in both looks and personality.
