All of my pets have loved me. All four of our current dogs were rescued/adopted from others. One, Honey was so broken and withdrawn, she seemed to have a very bad disposition. But, when I took her to the vet to be checked out, she ran around the treatment room several times looking for a way out, then jumped right into my lap and stayed there, giving me kisses while tembling. I have been her best daddy ever since - she will let me do anything to her (except cut her nails!).
