So, there was my friend who decided to give me her birthday treat at an expensive cafe. We were very excited. It is a garden themed cafe with greenry all around. The interior was decorated with antique pots, and tables were made up of wood and stone. After glancing at all the corners and enjoying its beauty we finally settled down in one of the table and had a look at menu. First stroke with price. It started with ₹251 and it was just a drink. As we flipped further we came across such names that we didn’t knew exist! All Italian dishes. Finally I came across lasagna, ok! So one dish I was aware of. But, I hadn’t taste lasagna in my life till then. So we finally ordered two mojito, one lasagna and one belgian chocolate waffle. First came the mojito. In hot whether that day, this drink gave a relief, but next dish spoiled our whole expensive lunch experience, yes none other than lasagna! As we took first bite, it was like eating cheese with vegetables! And the amount of vegetable! I never ate so much vegetable all together. My friend commented- My mother makes better, a lot better vegetable than this! It’s nothing less than ‘tinde ki sabzi’ (indian round gourd/tinda) mixed with cheese. But we completed it anyhow keeping in mind the money spent over it (approx ₹400, I don’t remember the exact price). We were happy that it finally ended with delicious waffles. But that taste of lasagna didn’t wanted to leave our tongue. This was probably the worst food experience we both went through. We promised never to eat that anymore. I don’t know if any lasgna taste good but that was not good for sure!
