When I worked as a Sales Executive i was allowed to take the spare samples home and if I was promoting something good, I usually would.

I used to love working around Christmas because i’d get sent loads of products by huge companies to promote and always have loads left over to take home. I would always split it with my family.

This time round I had family friends staying at my house while theirs was getting fixed. The mom had seen me walk in with 2 huge card board boxers full of Lindor chocolates. I walked straight to my room and put some in my clear fish bowl vase(I used it as decoration lmao no fish was in it). There was honestly still so much left, i was planning on going to the toilet, getting out of my uniform then sharing it out between everyone.

When I came out the bathroom I seen the mother filling up her purse with the chocolates. When she seen me she turned bright pink & still had the audacity to smile at me and say “didn’t know if you were sharing so I thought i’d take one.” Bare in mind she’s seen me bring things home & share it out even if I had alot less then I had with me that day. I laughed it off and she walked away.

A few minutes later I took the boxes inside and told my family I got chocolates from work and she said “don’t forget me” as she flared her hands in the box trying to grab as much as she could. I actually laughed. I grabbed her purse & opened it up in front of my mom & asked her how much more she wants. She turned bright red again and handed the chocolates she had now put on her lap over to her daughter. Safe to say she never did anything like that to me again.
