It depends on the franchise location. And the quality of people are way different. I worked at hooters and a table of smiling blue collar workers on a Friday Lunch break could be delighted with their burgers and wings and and the excitement of being there and leave a 30% tip, which was not uncommon. Later I went to work in fine dining and had millionaires that were some of the most frugal people Ive ever seen in my life. Neediness, talking down on me as I was “the help” and complaints were not uncommon. The lower class people understood I worked for tips and didn't make anything if they didn't tip. I'd pick working in a relaxed, humble atmosphere over the snudiness any day in my life.
