I'm surprised that this doesn't seem to have been mentioned yet:
We cannot queue properly.
Instead of the "proper way", which would follow the principle of "first come, first served", when a new cashier is opened at a supermarket there is a big rush by those at the back so they can be served more quickly than would be fair. Whereas in at least one other country people will form this fair queue even when there is no "funnel", in Germany many people will not think twice before jumping ahead.
