Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a procedure of extracting donor hair for Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT), in which individual follicular units are harvested in a direct way from the donor area and without any requirement of a linear incision.

There are different rates of FUE but I would recommend you to go to one of the best hair transplant clinic with reasonable cost. It is Hair Club Pakistan, you can search on Google with their brand name. They have the best hair treatment team with specialty in FUE, PRP and more.

Geographical location affects prices as well. Clinic fees may be greater in larger cities or in areas where living expenses are higher than in smaller towns. It's a good idea to investigate clinics in various areas to strike a balance between cost and quality.

The quantity of grafts needed for a hair transplant depends on a variety of variables, including the desired density and the degree of hair loss. While some clinics charge per graft, others provide packages based on the quantity of grafts. Knowing your unique requirements and speaking with a skilled surgeon will assist in ascertaining how many grafts are needed for your particular situation.

An FUE hair transplant is a long-term, natural-looking hair restoration treatment. During FUE hair transplant removes hair follicles from one part of your body, known as the donor area and transplants them to the balding area. So, it is the best solution to the hair loss problem at a reasonable cost. You can get the best hair transplant at 30rupees per grafts in India with an expert surgeon.

FUT is the best. Hands down. Google it, you will find the objective factual study on this. Read below:

“In a study by Beehner conducted to compare the results of FUE and FUT, the survival rate of FUs by FUT was 86% as compared to 61.4% by FUE after 14 months postoperatively.”

FUT success rate reaches almost 90% whereas FUE just barley over 60%. If I am allowed to stretch a bit, in FUT, there's virtually almost zero possiblity of HT failure. However in FUE, your chance of succesful HT is 50/50 because it proves to be barely 60% of success. Then why people chant for FUE so much? Because it's cheap

However in FUE, your chance of succesful HT is 50/50 because it proves to be barely 60% of success. Then why people chant for FUE so much? Because it's cheap marketing tactics by Turkish HT. You can have your HT in Turkey with significantly less cost where surgeons provide only FUE and your pocket is tight, you got no choice other than FUE. I have witnessed so many failed FUE especially from Turkey. Pay the fair price and get your HT done under highly qualified better surgeons in 1st world like Canada or USA where they got superior techniques / technologies with more experiences.

I reckon there are two obvious reasons why FUE fails so much.

  1. FUE punch holes / extract grafts all over the place includes the area where DHT could adversely affect. If your donor area is vulnerable to DHT (male pattern baldness), chances are obviously the transplanted hair will fall again. This is the main reason for far higher failure rate for FUE. In FUT, surgeons only takes the small strip where virtually 100%of hairs are immune to DHT. That's why FUT boasts higher success rate.
  2. Because FUE harvest grafts all over the place, you will never be able to do FUT later even if you want to. And FUE leaves smaller donor area available in the future after procedure is done. If you are suffering from long—term progressive hairloss like what male pattern baldness usually are, the donor area availability is the MOST CRUCIAL and FUE fails on that too. In FUT, only 1.5cm*16~17cm gets stripped out in very narrow strip, your donor area remain largely available FAR MORE than FUE for future use.

I am a Data Analyst and I research tons before I delve into something I am not familiar with. By nature, I am analytic, fact—driven, objectivity in mind hence my choice works well and it will be no different this time. If you are scared of stripping skins off your head, consequent pain from it, leaving scars behind, go for FUE. But suffering from baldness outweighs FAR MORE than the slight pain from FUT that is unless you are a pussy.

FUT, all the way.

I used to think pet insurance was unnecessary (a luxury, not a necessity). That changed after my friend’s dog Bear got sick out of nowhere. What started as minor symptoms turned into an emergency vet visit, followed by a cancer diagnosis, and $20,000 in medical expenses. In that moment, I realized how quickly things can spiral when it comes to a pet’s health.

Fortunately, my friend found a pet insurance policy from this website so Bear got the treatment he needed without my friend having to make impossible financial decisions.

If you’re wondering whether pet insurance is worth it, here are a few lessons I took away from Bear’s experience:

1. Pet insurance lets you focus on care—not costs

When Bear was diagnosed, my friend didn’t have to weigh his bank account against Bear’s well-being. Pet insurance covered the bulk of the costs, making it possible to move forward with aggressive treatment options right away. It’s peace of mind when you need it most.

Look here to see pet insurance options that cover both emergencies and serious conditions like cancer.

2. It helps with more than just major illnesses

While Bear’s case was extreme, many plans also cover routine care like annual checkups, vaccinations, and preventative treatments. These smaller costs add up, and having insurance means less strain on your wallet over time.

Explore policies with coverage for routine care here.

3. Vet bills can escalate quickly—even for small issues

Before Bear’s diagnosis, the initial tests and scans alone cost thousands. It was a reminder of how even something that seems minor can rack up a big bill fast. Pet insurance ensures you’re not caught off guard when costs pile up.

4. Insurance gives you flexibility and peace of mind

Without insurance, my friend would have faced tough decisions about Bear’s treatment—choices no pet owner should have to make. With a good policy, you can focus on what’s best for your pet instead of stressing over finances.

5. It’s a smart investment for any pet owner

Whether you’re caring for a young, healthy pup or an aging senior pet, insurance can be tailored to your pet’s specific needs. It’s not just about saving money—it’s about being ready for whatever life throws your way.

So, is pet insurance a good idea? Based on what I’ve seen, absolutely. It’s not just a financial safety net; it’s a way to ensure your pet gets the best possible care, no matter the circumstances.

If you’re thinking about it, take a few minutes to explore your options. This tool makes it easy to compare plans and find the right coverage for your furry friend. It could be one of the smartest decisions you make for your pet—and your peace of mind.

Coming to your question, will FUE works?

I think FUE is as effective and works the best as FUT, but it all depends on the doctor and the staff. In most of the FUE and FUT, doctor does high level work, where as it is the staff that do the extraction, and planting work. So the effectiveness is a summation of multiple factors.

In my 15 years of research and talking to several HT patients, I have seen disasters in FUE (but mostly in the beginning around 2010 to 2014), but nowadays, I am seeing several successful and super successful FUEs. People are going for FUE when compared to FUT due to several benefits like recovery time and so on.

Latest techniques in FUE like DHI and DHT are great, as they reduce the amount of time graft spends outside of body. That way, they increase the life of grafts. Some doctors assure you 100% grafts survival after they are transplanted. After all, that is what any one wants :(. The number of follicles are limited, so we are not ready to lose even a single graft.

Considering the cost of these treatments, FUE is slightly more expensive than FUT. In both methods, the follicles are extracted individually. Usually, the price relies on the grafts. However, the average cost of FUT is $4,000-$10,000. On the flip side, the price of the FUE is $4,000-$15,000. Ultimately, the cost leans on the patients' requirements for which they find more suitable.

FUE hair transplants can vary in cost depending on a number of factors, including the number of grafts being transplanted, the location of the clinic, and the experience level of the surgeon. On average, a FUE hair transplant can cost between $4,000 and $15,000.

The length of the surgery can also vary, but most FUE hair transplant procedures take between 4 and 8 hours to complete. The actual time that the patient spends in the clinic can be longer, however, as the procedure often requires multiple sessions spaced out over a period of days or weeks.

The choice of hair transplantation methods between FUT and FUE poses several concerns. Both FUE and FUT methods have proved equally successful in treatment. FUE vs FUT, which option should be made. They vary scientifically only in graft selection from the site of the donor.

The key difference between the methods of FUT and FUE hair transplant is that in FUT the doctor takes a strip of donor skin out from which the follicular units are removed to be transported to hair loss areas while in FUE the follicular units are exercised directly on the scalp.

Choose a clinic that offers your services backed by high medical expertise, intensely trained surgeon, best-in-class technology and state-of-the-art operation theatre facilities. So, you go on to lose all the hair around the circle worth of hair and now you have created an island and nothing around it. A target. Retention of the native hair, then, becomes crucial. So, can you do a transplant without Finasteride? Sure.

If you decide, for whatever reason, not to use Finasteride or any of the other modalities we typically discuss when dealing with this debilitating condition, avoid working the crown. Concentrate the grafts towards the front and the mid-scalp.

Yes, for most people they do work. There is always some loss of hair in the transplanting process (i.e. some of the transplanted follicles do not grow in their new location) and a small percentage of patients (less than 10%) get a very poor result, but for most patients they do work. Obviously, the degree of success can vary depending on the surgeon.

Obviously, the degree of success can vary depending on the surgeon.

However, although the transplant usually works, there are several significant limitations which it is important to understand (and which apply both to FUE and FUT):

First, if your hairloss is more than NW2, a transplant will not give you a full head of hair again. This is a simple matter of arithmetic. Your donor area is only a few square inches. If your bald area is also only a few square inches, then you would in theory be able to do a full density transplant in that bald area (ignoring any hair lost in the transfer process). But if your bald area is twice the size of your donor area (i.e. about NW3) the same amount of hair has to be spread out over twice the surface, so the density is only 50% of a normal head of hair. If your bald area is 4 times the size of your donor area (approximately NW4), the density of the transplant is only 25% of normal. At that sort of density level, the transplant will stop you looking bald, but you will still look thinning. If you stand under a strong light or in strong sunshine, your transplanted hair will be transparent, and your scalp will be very visible. It may be very obvious that you have had a transplant. You will probably need to use concealers (scalp make-up) to give an illusion of density to the transplanted hair. The pictures used in adverts for transplants conceal this reality, by using special lighting - the dense hair on the "after" photographs is not hair, but shadows of hair cast by the strong theatrical lighting. For the reasons described above, if your hairloss is more than NW4 it is not worth even considering a transplant.

Second, you should count on requiring more than one transplant. Even if the first transplant is a good success, as time goes by it will need to be topped up. More of your natural hair will fall out, and some of the transplanted hair will also fall out. The promotional literature says that transplanted hair is immune to the effects of male pattern baldness, but the reality is it still falls out eventually. If you have used transplanted hair to supplement your natural hairline, be aware that eventually the natural hairs are likely to disappear, leaving the transplanted hairs high and dry, and looking very obvious. There is also normally some pitting and unevenness in the skin under your transplant, so if the first transplanted hair falls out it can look bad, and you are likely to want to have a further transplant to keep it looking good. So don't use up all your donor hair on the first transplant - keep some back for repairs and top-ups.

Third, be careful about positioning your hairline too low. There is a natural relationship between the position of your hairline and the degree of recession of your side hair and temples. If you get a transplant which fixes your hairline where it was when you were 25, there is a good chance as you age your side hair will recede, leaving your transplanted hairline looking increasingly unbalanced and fake. Be conservative. You are going to be stuck with this hair pattern for several decades.

Fourth, be aware that most transplant surgeons advise you to keep on Finasteride of Minoxidil after your transplant in order to retain your hair. Make sure you are comfortable with that, and are not experiencing adverse side effects.

Follicular unit extraction (FUE) is a minimally invasive procedure, but it is important to remember that it is still considered surgery and should be taken seriously. The procedure itself is performed with local anesthesia and generally lasts about 6-10 hours. you will be required to spend long periods of time lying on their side and back, but the caring team at Long Hair Center takes steps to ensure the process is as comfortable as possible, doctor Ahmet was very professional dealing with my surgery.

I followed all the instruction that was given to me, you know how it feels when waiting for something, counting the days till the growth process started, then I become a bit relax and again waiting but it’s really really worth to wait because in the end after almost one year I was satisfied with the complete results I got with FUE I wish I had this step before, but it’s Okey, now I’m 44 years old, living my youth, no one will be able to tell that I have undergone a hair transplant, no scars that how effective FUE is.

I hope I answered the question and I highly recommend Long hair center for the best FUE.

The overall cost of both these methods are quite different from each other know about Hair Transplant Cost in Punjab. You can opt for only one method out of FUE and FUT thus the cost of treatment will change drastically.

Keep in mind that hair transplant cost varies from location to location. In some countries, it’s a very expensive procedure and in some other countries, its prices are jaw-droppingly low. Such variations in cost is because of several factors, such as:

  • Number of grafts: Hair transplant clinics charge per graft. So, the balder you are, the more grafts you’ll need therefore the more price you’ll have to pay.
  • Clinic’s location: Location greatly affects the cost of hair transplants. A clinic in a luxurious neighborhood will charge more money than a clinic situated in a poor neighborhood.

  • Equipment availability: Medical science is advancing rapidly and high-class clinics utilize advanced equipment which means more money out of your wallets.
  • Type of procedure: FUT and FUE are two common hair transplant techniques. FUE is the latest technique and also provides more benefits than an FUT which is why it is also more expensive.
  • Surgeon’s skills: If a doctor becomes an expert in his field and earns an outstanding reputation then his charges will increase automatically.
  • Number of sessions: A hair transplant is normally done in one session. But if your head requires extra sessions, you’ll have to pay more.

Problem with expensive hair treatment

We can’t deny the fact that expensive clinics have a greater probability to provide better results than low priced clinics. But the major problem is that not everyone can afford such expensive treatments. In Australia, a hair transplant can cost around $15000.

Problem with cheaper hair treatment

If a person who is suffering from baldness wants a hair transplant really bad but can’t afford then he’ll go for a cheaper surgery. And the problem here is that low priced hair transplants can’t guarantee quality results.

What to do? Is there any solution?

The solution in one word is Turkey. Turkey is not only economical but is also famous for its quality hair transplants. The cost normally ranges from $2000 to $4000 only.

Recommended hair transplant clinics in Turkey are listed below:

1. Vera Clinic

2. Diamond Hair Clinic

3. Maxim Hair Restoration

4. Istanbul Aesthetic Center

5. AHD Clinic

Some may offer long hair FUE, but you end up paying more and it makes no difference to the overall result. And, for doctors that have little to no experience, they’ll also shave your entire head. It’s important to keep the hair long as it will allow for the doctor to notice the angle and direction of the native hair. When the doctor makes the aperture, he can match. This would allow the new hair to grow in the same angle and direction of the native hair. It’s for all these reasons most women will choose an FUT procedure.

Secondly, you may require multiple procedures to achieve density by moving forward with an FUE procedure. FUE was originally meant for military guys who cannot afford to have a linear scar in the back of the head. And most will market “no scar,” which is not true. FUE will leave circular type scars, (think of honeycomb), throughout the entire donor. This, in my view, defeats the whole purpose of choosing an FUE procedure. To avoid this, the punch size needs to be smaller than .9mm. This would allow for a micro-scar which will not...

Contrary to other hair treatments, FUE hair transplantation is a more modern technique and is based onindividual hair basis. We expose the follicles using the FUE technique to fewer damages, which offers the best solution to each hair transplanted hair the best chance to survive. DHT - the hormone that induces the shallowness of the male pattern - is not affected, since the follicle from an uninhibited region, fresh hair is not subjected to the same patterns of loss.

Because the process is more labor intensive, FUE is significantly more successful than other hair transplantation procedures, since every hair follicle is removed separately. One of the main benefits however is that unlike FUT, the back of the scalp has no strip taken, so the scar is small.

The short answer is that yes, hair transplants do work.

The more detailed answer would be why they work:

Mechanisms of hair loss

The causes of hair loss are complex and still not completely understood. It is likely that several mechanisms contribute to hair loss. One of them is sensitivity to DHT.

DHT belongs to a group of hormones called androgens (hence androgenetic alopecia).

What does DHT have to do with hair loss?

Studies have shown that DHT shrinks hair follicles that are sensitive to it. As the follicle gets smaller, there is less space for the hair to grow and so it becomes progressively thinner. The longer the hair follicle is exposed to DHT, the more it shrinks. The more it shrinks, the shorter the growing cycle becomes until the hair no longer grows.

For people with androgenetic alopecia, it’s the hair follicles at the front, top and crown of the scalp that are sensitive to DHT.

The hairs around the back of the head and ears don’t behave the same way, they do not have the same sensitivity to DHT.

Why hair transplants work

A hair transplant takes hair follicles from a donor area and inserts them into the bald patches on the skalp.

In most cases, the donor area is the back of the head. As mentioned, the hair follicles at the back of the head do not have the same sensitivity to DHT and therefore hair loss doesn’t normally occur with them.

After transplanting these follicles they still retain this feature of not being sensitive to DHT, meaning that even if they have been transplanted into the front part of the scalp or the crown area, they don’t shrink and the hair growing out of them is normally not subject to hair loss anymore.

It is essential to have an appropriately prepared and experienced doctor playing out the methodology. I am tragic to report this detail is frequently neglected in light of the fact that patient's are looking for "the best arrangement."

Privately owned businesses advancing FUE gadgets are intrigued fundamentally in making a benefit and not persistent security and people of good taste results.

These organizations may have other unified organizations that doctors may contract with. These doctors without adequate hair rebuilding preparing contract out to non-doctor administrators or hair specialists, to play out the hair medical procedure from beginning to end. No specialist or doctor is included and the results can be horrible.

Average Cost of Hair Transplant?

A few organizations showcase these FUE gadgets to plastic specialists, dermatologists, medications spas and aesthetician skin facilities where untrained doctors use hair professionals to play out the hair medical procedure. Mind boggling as it might appear, without suitable preparing and lacking idea of essential hair rebuilding basics, plastic specialists and dermatologists are rehearsing hair reclamation medical procedure utilizing hair professionals.

At the point when at their hair medical procedure counsel, patients ought to inquire as to whether the specialist is engaged with the pre-usable, intra-employable, and post usable periods of medical procedure. Patients ought to inquire as to whether the doctor gathers the unions and make the beneficiaries locales important to deliver common hairlines. Patient's likewise need to recollect whether a hair careful office is putting forth a semi-costly strategy at an exceptional diminished expense, there is normally a reason, and it is anything but a decent one.

There is no requirement for surgical hair transplantation there. If you have been diagnosed with a condition that causes hair loss that is likely to be permanent, such as male pattern baldness or permanent hereditary hair loss, there are still additional choices that you might want to take into consideration. Before you even think about getting a FUE hair transplant, there are a few things you need to do if you are experiencing any degree of hair loss already.

It's possible that your hair loss won't last forever, but the first thing you should do is make an appointment with a medical professional so you can pinpoint the precise reason for it. The first possibility is to take no action. Try not to laugh. Treatments for hair loss, particularly hair transplant surgery, can run into the thousands of dollars. They are not always pleasant and can cause some unwanted side effects in certain people. There are situations when they are ineffective or are not a good fit for your particular condition. Doing nothing about it is a perfectly viable choice, and any competent professional should advise you to consider it before pursuing any other course of action.

We all could understand the importance of hairs and pain of losing it. It could be one of the most heartbreaking experiences of life as it affects the social, personal and professional life to a major extend. I can relate to everyone’s situation who is reading this post as I have faced the same experience years ago. Thankfully my problem got resolved and now I need not hide my bald area by residual hair or hiding baldness under a cap. I got the perfect solution to my baldness, hope you also get it soon.

If thinking about hair transplant our major concern is how much does it costs? Which is the best clinic where we can get it done at an affordable price? If you are looking for these queries online you will surely end up in confusion as cost of hair transplant depends on multiple factors as per your requirement and the condition. Still you can have a vague idea of range of hair transplant treatment in your city. Including searching best clinic online is way more difficult as per every clinic they are best whom to rely god knows.

The multiple factors on which cost of hair transplant rely are enumerated as follows:

1. Number of follicular grafts required: Cost of hair transplant majorly depends upon the number of grafts required to cover the bald area. The cost increases as the number of grafts required increases.

2. Educational qualification of surgeon: Ideally, cosmetic surgeon with MBBS, MS (General surgery), MCh (Plastic surgeon) are super specialized to perform these procedures.

3. Experience of the surgeon: Surgeons with more experience will surely cost you bit higher as compared to Fresher surgeon.

4. Number of successful testimonials: People with satisfied results deliver their testimonials and that makes the clinician renowned. Cost quoted by renowned and well known surgeon will be relatively high as compared to less famous clinics.

5. Hygiene and safety standards: If a clinic is maintaining high hygiene standards, the cost will be bit high. These procedures should be done under proper aseptic conditions to reduce the risk of infection.

On an average hair transplant cost can vary from 70,000 to 400000 INR based on your situation and requirement of number of grafts which varies from 15-125 Rs/graft as per clinics standards. Many clinics offer huge discounts or attractive packages, but you should be cautious and aware of credibility of these clinics. Believing such clinics blindly could end you up with wasting handsome amount on spoilt results which you would regret later. Some of these clinics recruit substandard doctors for hair transplant for cost cutting which end up in huge loss on patient’s side. It is always better to segregate genuine and reputed clinics first offering best results and then think about the cost factor among them as you are paying handsome amount for best results. In case failed to get so, you will end up in wasting the whole amount paid may be some thousands less.

I had researched a lot about multiple hair transplant clinics in Jaipur and made list of criteria based on my preference and requirements.

Here are few things I made notes of before reaching to a conclusion:

  1. Qualification of the surgeon: I found out its better to get treated by MCh Plastic surgeon as they are super specialized for cosmetic surgeries.
  2. Experience of the surgeon: Obviously no one trusts on inexperienced surgeons how much ever less it is costing as everyone wants the best results and with inexperienced hair transplant surgeons it becomes doubtful.
  3. Expertise of a surgeon: It is always better to assess expertise by researching on previous photo gallery on the website of the clinic.
  4. Videos: Youtube is an amazing portal nowadays to check reviews or procedure videos for approval of your choice unless those videos are promotional. Always rely on general public videos rather than scripted ones.
  5. Cost: It is better to segregate best clinics and then decide among them as per your budget. Believe me if you will think of cost first and results later you will regret for life and end up wasting that amount also. I have seen my colleagues facing such consequences. It is really worth to spend a handful amount extra if the desirable results are achieved.

After looking and consulting from many clinics, my list of criteria pointed me towards Dr Suneet Soni from “Medispa hair transplant centre” in Jaipur. My consultation with him was very informative and fruitful which made me believe to certain extend that he is a genuine and straight forward personality. Despite his fame in Jaipur he is a down to earth person and spends ample time during each consultancy to check, diagnose and explain the required details about hair transplant to each patient. During the consultation he explained me about techniques of hair transplant which are FUT and FUE including the indications and benefits of each. He is very famous for introducing combination technique FUT+FUE of hair transplant in Jaipur and Delhi which I found out online. Including with his photo gallery I was quite sure of his creative skills as in previously treated patients it was difficult to differentiate between natural and transplanted hairs.

These things made me believe in him and I gave it a chance, which I would never regret. I guess it was a wisest decision I made till now. The best thing while getting treated by him was this that he does every minute work on his own as if it’s his passion to deliver results in the best interest of patients. I must say this kind of passion towards your work is rare to find. They have huge set up in Jaipur which is very well maintained and I could see they had all possible equipment's required for performing hair transplant in a best way. Including, hats off to their hygiene standards from reception to the OT it was wonderful. Believe me once you meet him you will find on your own why I chose him.

Anyways, my suggestion would be do your own research as per your list of criteria and preferences, spend the right amount on right person and pave your own way to get desirable results. Hope you also have a fruitful experience as my journey of hair transplant.
