There are plenty of videos but nobody believes them so there’s really no point in taking video anymore is there?

…but let’s jump right to the heart of the matter first. Are UFOs nonsense?
Let’s first cover the fact that a former pentagon UFO investigator says we have unequivocal and voluminous evidence of objects behaving in a way that should be impossible according to modern consensus physics.

…and now let me address a particularly disgusting sort of person we need to deal with.

The mildest investigation uncovers massive, repeated, irrefutable evidence corroborated by combinations of thousands of simultaneous observers and vetted, reliable, and sober military personnel. Only the mind-blowingly conventionalist, cowardly (easily controlled) minds still hang on to the idea that UFOs are nonsense. These self-proclaimed “skeptics” often are nothing more than hyper-religious (sans spirituality) keepers of the faith who live in the constant gripping fear that they might be perceived in some mildly negative light. I have nothing but contempt for these people who have never held a single belief contentious to their preferred group. They’ve never dipped a toenail outside of what they believe is “consensus of the authority.” I can’t really see them as an individual consciousness and their derisive attitudes to anything outside consensus eliminate any patience I would otherwise have.

They are the intellectual equivalent of the 90 pound kid who talks tough with his “crew” behind him.

I have no interest in convincing or even educating any of these supremely intellectually lazy individuals. Additionally, if you haven’t looked into this phenomena and separated the compelling evidence from the nonsense noise yet, then you lack the fundamental curiosity of a growing and valuable mind and that stagnancy usually only comes from a focus on social hierarchy concern over the pursuit of truth. I cannot abide that either.

There’s a wide berth between space aliens and UFOs!

Just because there is massive evidence for unidentified phenomena does not translate to any meaningful evidence that their origin is aliens.

The vast majority of encounter stories can be understood in the context of hallucinogenic events regardless of if the chemically induced event is endogenous or exogenous. Let me clarify that it doesn’t diminish the meaning of these personal events nor does it rule out the possibility of alien contact. From a speculative view, my own education in neuroscience reveals to me that it may indeed be necessary for this sort of mental event to occur for communication with a different sort of intellect.

I just personally haven’t seen any compelling evidence that the origin of these absurdly common events is extraterrestrial.

Returning to the question and relating my own personal experience.

Why don’t people take video?

I attended a UFO conference to meet Graham Hancock who has interesting observations on consensus stories of history. (and also doesn’t believe space aliens are responsible for everything)

This was in Joshua Tree and I believe there is a military base somewhere nearby. There was a UFO viewing area with night vision etc and it was all great fun. The upbeat and “wonder” energy of the crowd really made the experience even if I was extremely skeptical.

The crowd is an odd mixture of innocent loving people and manipulative hucksters.

I was surprised to see the “green orbs” type of “UFO” and there was indeed some sort of fast moving distant craft (more than one) with a large green light. I can’t say it wasn’t a set-up with drones, or just some military craft, but they definitely responded to shining lasers at them by blinking their lights back. It was strange since they were green-lit only and seemed to fly far too fast for drones. (but was otherwise mundane)

I didn’t film any of it.

Apparently someone did because they have videos here: UFO Sightings Witnessed at CONTACT in the DESERT

But the question is “Why would I?” I doubt it was anything meaningful to anyone other than those present.

What, am I going to go around showing people a video saying “look I filmed a UFO!”

Think it out. If you had a viewing of an object that behaved in an unexpected fashion would you bother filming it. Then if you did and you viewed your crap evidence of basically nothing, would you show anyone?

No? Neither would I.
