Dhaka is one of the few capital cities in the World which does not have any proper traffic management system. As a Bangladeshi citizen, I am ashamed to admit that people like me, the Dhaka city dwellers, do not care about the traffic law and it’s kind of a paradox. If you want to follow the law you will never reach to your destination in time and if you break the law others will not stop you, rather follow you.

There are many practical barriers and limitation we must acknowledge. But it is also an undeniable fact that the ‘mess of Dhaka traffic’ produces over a million BDT business (It is a speculative figure. If a proper study can be carried out, the real figure may surprise you).

Population is enormous. You cannot make a Dhaka without living its people out of the city. So many people is a small space always create jams. But let's not be hopeless, we will build a system someday, Bangladeshi youngs are really creative, they will find a solution in the future.
