I have had a few, but my most memorable was as a new nurse in the Army. Now this is back in the 1970′s when tattoos on women were not as common as they are now.
I was going to a hospital room to get a patient up and walk her after a surgery the day before. This was a young female soldier. Our routine is to assist the patient to sit on the side of the bed, get them a robe, assist them up and help them walk.
While assisting her to sit on the side of the bed. I noticed she had a small head of a lion tattooed on her left sholder. While assisting her to stand, I commented that it was a nice tattoo.
She asked me if I really liked it, to which I said yes. She then says let me show you my horse. She pulls open the back of her gown, and there, from one butt cheek to the other is a huge horse tattoo. She then says, when I walk it moves.
