“straight is the gate and narrow is the way and few there be that find it”-Matthew 7:14

It is kind of like what happened during Noah's time. Knowing Noah didn't qualify you. Being in the same city Noah lived in didn't qualify you. Knowing what Noah was doing and building didn't qualify you.

Literally had to be in the ark or you simply did not make it.

So, yes, you do have to be saved to go to heaven
