I was on the waiting list for six months before I received a 35 cm black epsom with palladium (silver hardware). I was referred to my SA by a prominent member of the community, made my intentions known to him, and then bought approximately 4K in merchandise with said SA in order to receive my Birkin. That’s the standard procedure (buy at least 2K in merch from the SA as you wait), but my understanding is the waiting time is usually longer, approximately 18 months.
