It really does depend on your state. My state does not pay min wage, but tipped min wage which is 2.33 an hour. In a single 80 hour two week check I bring home 16 bucks. That’s after taxes and with two dependents. My tips range anywhere from 400-900 a week, (depending how many shifts I work and what days) and where I live that’s good. It depends where you are, how many servers are on the floor, who you have to tip out, how busy it is, ect.
