I read this question, and I was like *flashbacks*
There was this guy I had a crush on, and I had confessed it to him. When we began chatting, we didnt "really" click. It was becoming kinda awkward. Somehow we went on a date.

The day we went on a date, he was 5 minutes early and waited for me roadside in his car. I had to look out for him for ten minutes because he didnt even get out of the car to coordinate.
When I found him, he had to get a photocopy done. We searched for a photocopier, but didnt find any.
Then we went to ITO (Delhi Area) because that was the nearest place to get a photocopy.
All this time, we only talked about our career and exam strategy.
He parked his car, and we got his photocopy done. Then he asked me where I'd like to go. I said, "anywhere is good". So he told me, "
how about Income Tax Department's Canteen?"
Delhiites would know the area around ITO, what I'm talking about! There're only offices and chole kulche stalls there lol.
I was hesitant, but went with it. He adds, "they've nice Rajma Chawal there". He made an entry log to the IT Department, and we reached the canteen. Fortunately, they didn't have Rajma Chawal available then. Neither was the sandwich (that I ordered) so we left.
He drove his car off, and says lets go to Cross River Mall. I felt better. While we drove off from ITO to Karkardooma (15 min stretch),
we only talked about nightouts. And tgen awkward silence.
When we reached there, he ordered McD, that too 'take away'. Yep, you read that right! We didnt even get off the car, and sat anywhere. We ate at some roadside area awkwardly like passangers on a train that don't even know each other.
Later, he called his friend (maybe because that awkwardness was too much for either of us to handle) and I talked a bit to his friend about his basics hoping a conversation would begin.
Neither of us talked after 10 minutes.
When he drove me back to my place, he said he had brought me something. It was home cooked Gaajar ka halwa.
That was the only good thing about the whole date, honestly.
He dropped me. And I took a sigh of relief! *phew*
The worst part, I called him later that evening to express courtesy for gajar ka halwa and lied "I had good time today."
Lying had never hurt that hard before.

No wonder, my crush on him vanished like smoke in air.

Later one time he invited me to a pool party. But I saved us both from subsequent awkwardness by turning him down.

Weirdest date ever!
