This is a cool question! I avoided looking at the other answers cause I knew I would be influenced by them, so if there’s any repeats, then I guess that member just matches that particular brand really well.
I’m not much of a fashion gal but I had a look at some of the more popular designer brands to see which fit each BTS member the most. (I picked from this list: Top 10 luxury brands for 2019)
Get ready for a LOT of un-expert opinions!
Namjoon — Gucci
We have a healthy mix of colors. Mostly solid colors, well-defined folds and cuts, and a sprinkle of patterns. Gucci outfits are also unconventionally put together, but the color coordination is top-notch.
Namjoon’s outfits have been pretty colorful, and has plenty of patterns.
Jin — Armani
First thing I thought of? Tones. Every outfit has its own color scheme and nothing looks out of place. I think it’s a bit “safer” in the realm of fashion. It definitely favors form-fits, and crosses between formal- and casual-wear. It’s for people who value comfort, maybe going out for a lunch date with a friend, but also want to be ready to go to work.
These looks are totally up Jin’s alley. Formal, but so effortlessly casual?
Yoongi — Prada
The first thing I thought of when I scrolled through Prada looks was sharp lines. And a bit boxy, if that makes sense.
Bags, solid colors, suits. Generally safe. Yoongi.
Yoongi sticks to solid colors, or should I say, color. Black. He loves his trench coats, and he definitely rocks those big bags.
Hoseok — Louis Vuitton
This is LV’s Spring 2020 Menswear collection. Definitely on the wilder side.
We have an interesting variety of cut and style. You need the right vibe to pull these looks off. We’ve got long, loose pants, to short, tight pants. Overcoats and/or a loose top are a must. There’s a healthy mix of crazy patterns and solid colors as well.
Hobi’s style is very much patterns and colors!
Hobi has his fair share of tight to loose pants as well!
And of varying lengths…
Jimin — Christian Dior
A bit of techno, like we’ve seen on BTS’s “Tear” stages, some casual, and a sprinkle of formal. There seems to be an emphasis on accessories like the bags the models in the second picture are modeling. Though Hobi is BTS’s poster boy for bags in general, Dior bags are a bit different.
Dior bags are sleek and their outfits are form-fitting.
Even though there’s the wild pattern here and there, it’s still a clean-cut look.
Taehyung — Hermes
The color schemes are back! There seems to be a strong favor for big, loose-fitting, overcoats.
This picture in particular reminds me of something Tae would wear. The loose, almost baggy pants, paired with loose shirt and sandals. He’s also a fan of overcoats.
Jungkook — Balenciaga
There’s little to no debate on this one, methinks! Balenciaga definitely seems to be more casual-wear than formal, which Jungkook seems to be into. He could totally model their looks— I mean, he already is! Jungkook is BTS’s poster boy for Balenciaga products. Have a look:
Here’s a compilation of JK’s Balenciaga collection (that we’ve seen so far):
