Hindu OC are around 33% of total population

reddy - 8.5% ,

Kamma - 8%,

Raju - 1.75 %,

Arya Vysa - 2.5%,

Brahmin - 2.25%

Kapu/Naidu - 4.5 % , Telaga - 2.5%, Balija Naidu - 3 % - Total OC Kapu 10% (Toatal Kapu population including BC Turpu Kapu is 13 %)

Hindu BC are 35% of population major castes among bc’s are

Yadav/Kuruba - 7%,

Settibalija/Goud - 3.25%,

Valmiki/Boya - 3%,

padmashali - 3%,

Turpu Kapu - 3%,

Velama ( In AP they come under BC) - 2.5% ,

Agni kula kshtriya - 2.5%.

Rajaka/Chakalli/Dhobi - 2.25 %

viswakarma - - 2 %

vaddaraju/Vaddera - 1.75 %

All other bc castes have minor populations around 1 % or less of the population.

SC are around 17.2 % of population -( Around 80% are Converted christian but officailly listed as hindu)

Mala - 9.5 %,

Madiga - 7%

remaining percentage is other sc castes like relli, Adi dravida etc.

Religious minorities are officially 9.5 % of population

Muslim - 8.2 %

Christian - 1.3 - ( The majority of SC’s in Coastal Andhra are Converted Christians but are officially listed as Hindus to be eligible for reservation benefits. So the real christian population is between 15 to 16%)

ST population 5.3 % and made up of bunch of different tribes like yerukala, Yanadi, Banjara, Konda dhora, Bagata, Koya etc. Of these the yanadi are the largest and makeup around 1.25 percentage of State population.
