To prompt a chat in GPT, you provide an initial message or question as input, and the model will generate a response based on that prompt. For example:

User: "What is the weather like today?" Model: "The weather today is sunny with a high of 75°F."

You can continue the conversation by extending the dialogue in a back-and-forth manner.

Overpaying on car insurance

You’ve heard it a million times before, but the average American family still overspends by $417/year on car insurance.

If you’ve been with the same insurer for years, chances are you are one of them.

Pull up Coverage.com, a free site that will compare prices for you, answer the questions on the page, and it will show you how much you could be saving.

That’s it. You’ll likely be saving a bunch of money. Here’s a link to give it a try.

Here’s how to see if you qualify:

Head over to this Debt Relief comparison website here, then simply answer the questions to see if you qualify.

It’s as simple as that. You’ll likely end up paying less than you owed before and you could be debt free in as little as 2 years.

Missing out on free money to invest

It’s no secret that millionaires love investing, but for the rest of us, it can seem out of reach.

Times have changed. There are a number of investing platforms that will give you a bonus to open an account and get started. All you have to do is open the account and invest at least $25, and you could get up to $1000 in bonus.

Pretty sweet deal right? Here is a link to some of the best options.

Having bad credit

A low credit score can come back to bite you in so many ways in the future.

From that next rental application to getting approved for any type of loan or credit card, if you have a bad history with credit, the good news is you can fix it.

You’d have to ask the designers of GPT-3 for that! But in general, I would imagine that it associates patterns. For example, if you see:

  1. SELECT Name, OrderNumber FROM Customers

that is a string pattern which is very typical for SQL, but is not typical for normal human to human writing. So given that input, GPT-3 would presumably select the SQL realm (actually, I imagine that it would have a set of possible realms with different probabilities, with SQL as the top probability.

GPT-3 includes a huge amount of data, so the chances of finding an approximate match and so selecting a realm are high. None of this implies that GPT-3 “knows” what you are talking about. A human reading the above string will immediately have a whole range of real-world associations - for example, that the Customers table is a list of human beings or organisations, that these beings or organisations carry out commercial transactions (orders), that the beings or organisations have names which distinguish them, and so on. Humans automatically relate what they read to their understanding of the world, to their model of the world. I don’t know if GPT-3 includes such a world model - I suspect not; and without such a model, there is no real understanding, just symbol manipulation.

I think the better way to put it is that it does have some form of understanding of the input text. It responds very well to input text and it’s outputs are related to the input text. But it isn’t self aware or conscious or anything like that.

  • ‘_’ Cursor (Underscore) points to location of a particular character.

Example:

Here, ‘_’ is pointing the position of “P”. So, any input character will replace “P”.

  • ‘|’ Cursor (Pipe or Vertical Bar) points to location Before or After the character.

Example:

Here, ‘|’ is pointing to position before “P”. So, any input character will be placed in between both P’s and will not replace any character.

Eclipse is an IDE with console/terminal window operating completely independently on external, debugged, hardware, eg MCU.

Cursor is there to show window is active, ready to receive data. But cursor is not mandatory. My debugger (Lauterbach and T32) does not shows cursor in terminal window. I could tell IDE to show it.
