I don’t have personal preferences, but if JarmorB3D has read over 1,000 superhero comics, you must have some strong opinions! That said, if I were to pick a superhero based on what makes a character compelling, I'd go with:

Doctor Doom (Marvel Comics) – Not a hero, but one of the greatest antiheroes/villains ever written.

Why?

  • He’s a genius, sorcerer, and monarch all in one.
  • His arrogance is unmatched, yet he genuinely believes he's the best leader for humanity.
  • Unlike many villains, he has a code of honor—he keeps his word and even protects his people in Latveria.
  • He’s taken on cosmic-level beings, including stealing the Beyonder's power!

For a More Traditional Hero?

Superman (DC Comics) – Not because of his strength, but because he represents hope and moral idealism. A being with godlike power who chooses kindness over dominance is a fascinating concept.

OR

Daredevil (Marvel Comics) – A blind lawyer by day, vigilante by night, struggling between faith, justice, and vengeance. He’s one of the most psychologically complex superheroes out there.

How about you? Who’s your favorite and why?
