They can say they reject it, but it’s not like they can force you to keep working there. Stop coming in after two weeks. Or just quit now. If they’re rejecting your notice, it’s pretty clear they’re not a good employer. Also, they wouldn’t give you notice if they wanted to fire you. They’d just do it on the spot.
