Endrick was born in Taguatinga, a city in the Federal District of Brazil, on July 21, 2006. His early life was marked by challenges, including a difficult financial situation that saw his family struggling to make ends meet. His father, Douglas de Sousa Silva Ramos, had aspirations of becoming a professional footballer but faced limited opportunities, leaving the family in a precarious situation. During a period when his father was pursuing his football career, Endrick and his siblings lived in an orphanage in São Paulo as their mother faced unemployment and homelessness. Despite these hardships, Endrick's passion for football emerged early, and he began playing at the age of four. His father later became employed as a janitor at Palmeiras, a prominent Brazilian football club, where Endrick's talent was nurtured. This challenging background fueled Endrick's determination to succeed, ultimately leading him to become one of the most promising young talents in Brazilian football.
