Silk is an ancient treasure that never loses its shine, proven to be very soft and perfect for use for a very long time. Among the various types of silk, the golden muga silk stands out in some way. This material is produced in Assam and in time acquires a golden sheen instead of getting spoiled or washed out. It is widely used in creating plain sarees out of which masters create almost glow-like apparel.

The next beauty we have is Tussar silk fabric which has a silky texture thus its name and it has a deep colour. Used mostly for sarees and scarves, this fabric brings out that rustic look that cannot be compared to any other fabric. Tussar silk is also used for home decoration purposes as cushion covers, curtains, and even the walls are decorated with it.

Though these two types are modern, they are so culturally grounded to fulfil the fashion industry’s needs. They put a touch of elegance in everything they design making ordinary items look like classic works. Everybody adores silk as it provides aesthetics and utility at the same time.
